Soshable ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and AI-powered social media management platform.

By using Soshable, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password.

Website Data: When you connect your website, we scan publicly available content (pages, images, brand elements) to generate social media posts on your behalf. That content can include names, photos or reviews that appear publicly on your website.

Social Media Accounts: When you connect social media platforms, we receive access tokens to publish content on your behalf. We do not store your social media passwords.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken. We send these actions, with your name, email address and account details, to Mixpanel, our product analytics provider, and we use Google Analytics on the platform and its sign-up pages.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Soshable platform; generate and schedule social media content based on your website; process transactions and send billing-related communications; send service-related announcements and updates; respond to your requests and support inquiries; monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve our service; and protect against unauthorized access and abuse.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Soshable, for the purposes below:

Hosting and email: Amazon Web Services stores our data and sends our emails.
Payments: Stripe processes your payments.
AI providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (Gemini) and Replicate process your website content, brand details, product information, photos and the requests you type, to write and design your posts. We do not send them your payment details.
Analytics: Mixpanel and Google Analytics help us understand how the platform is used.
Advertising measurement: Meta (Facebook) receives information through the Meta Pixel on our public website and sign-up pages (see Cookies and Tracking below).
Support and live updates: Intercom runs our support chat, and Pusher delivers live updates in the app.
Publishing: the social media platforms you connect (such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok), and the publishing services we use to reach them, receive the posts you approve.

These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us.

5. Where Your Information Is Processed

Our data is stored with Amazon Web Services in Germany. The providers above process information in the United States and other countries where they operate, so your information is sent outside Australia. We choose providers that protect it to a standard comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email address below.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Google Analytics and Intercom also set cookies to measure how the platform is used and to run the support chat.

On our public website and sign-up pages we use the Meta Pixel. It sets a cookie and sends Meta information such as the pages you visit and details of your browser and device, so we can measure and improve our advertising. Meta may combine it with other information it holds about you, under its own privacy policy. We do not use it inside the app once you have signed up.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage how Meta uses information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "last updated" date.
